Ms. Sigman received her B.A. in English from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1989, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and then graduated ranked #1 in her graduating class from Stetson University College of Law in 1992, summa cum laude. She has been practicing Employment Law in the same law firm for 25 years. She is “AV” rated by Martindale Hubbell and a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA).

Ms. Sigman was named Orlando Magazine’s 2016 “Lawyer of the Year” for Individuals in Employment Law and is included in annual publications of Florida Trend’s Legal Elite, Orlando Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar”, Orlando Magazine’s annual listing of top lawyers, and Best Lawyers in America. In 2004, Ms. Sigman was featured on the cover of the Orlando Business Journal as the #1 “Best of the Bar” in Central Florida, based upon ratings from Central Florida attorneys. She is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, and a highly experienced lecturer on topics in employment law. Ms. Sigman also serves as a professional
resource for her colleagues, conferring on employment-related matters.

Ms. Sigman established the law firm of Sigman & Sigman, P.A. in 1992 with her husband Phillip. She practices a select spectrum of employment law, including litigation and trial representation of
clients in lawsuits involving employment discrimination, employment contract disputes, executive compensation disputes, whistleblower Qui Tam (False Claims Act) cases, non-competition covenant disputes, and other employment-related claims. Her non-litigation services include drafting and evaluation of employment contracts, review and negotiation of severance packages, evaluation of unique physician employment and recruitment agreements, advising clients involved in discrimination and harassment in the workplace, representation of employees in disciplinary an grievance proceedings, and advising clients in employment-related situations. Ms. Sigman is also called upon to perform independent investigations of alleged workplace sexual harassment and discrimination.
