Dr. Lena Dobson
Dr. Lena Dobson attended University of Missouri-St. Louis for her B.A. and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She earned her PhD in clinical psychology with an emphasis on neuropsychological assessment from Nova Southeastern University (APA-accredited). While completing her Ph.D., Dr. Dobson was the Primary Investigator for a 6-year longitudinal research study focused on neuropsychological measures and sports concussion in professional sports.
After achieving her PhD, Dr. Dobson pursued a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at a private practice located in New York and New Jersey focused on traumatic brain injury and forensic neuropsychology. Concurrently, Dr. Dobson founded ScandicNeuro Corp, a consulting/research company. The company consults for CROs and CMOs involved in international and domestic clinical trials. Additionally, it conducts independent research in the field of neuropsychology.
Dr. Dobson has authored articles in peer reviewed medical journals and co-authored books as well as presented her work at international and domestic conferences. She is an Editorial Board member for the Journal of Veterans Studies where she conducts peer reviews of articles submitted for publication.
Dr. Dobson is a member of several professional organizations, including: International Neuropsychological Society; American Psychological Association, Society of Clinical Neuropsychology; National Academy of Neuropsychology; and Swedish Neuropsychological Association. She is the Special Interest Group Liaison and Assistant Chair for the International Neuropsychological Society Science Task Force. Additionally, Dr. Dobson is a member of the INS Program Committee for the 2018 mid-year meeting in Prague, Czech Republic.
