Pedro Meneses
Pedro Meneses’s journey into aerospace was not just a pursuit but a calling, at age 3 he fell in love with things that fly, while spending hours daydreaming in front of his local airport. He obtained a degree in Aerospace Engineering at ERAU, USA, with a 4.0 GPA. Venturing into the professional world, he contributed to major aerospace companies such as BE Aerospace, Gulfstream, and Adam Aircraft, where his innovation led to five patents.
With a successful career underway, Meneses’s devotion to his roots called him back to Ecuador. He established the first Aerospace Engineering program at the USFQ, Quito. While being a Dean, he also led the Galapagos UAV project. Employing drones to safeguard the Galapagos National Park against illegal poaching. This project was internationally recognized, featuring on the Discovery Channel, and receiving invitations to Stanford University’s Aero Design Seminar.
Pedro obtained an MBA, that served as a springboard into entrepreneurship. He founded Meneses Constructores, a real estate firm, and LAS, which focused on drone development. His entrepreneurial spirit did not stop there; he became an angel investor and founded several companies, such as Construsupply, Trivo, Provemetros, within various sectors.
Amidst a global shift during the pandemic, with a team of exceptional individuals, he founded Aerialoop, focused on an untapped opportunity within drone-based middle mile logistics. Creating one of the world largest drone delivery operations over cities of millions of people.
For Meneses, however, his greatest accomplishment is being father to Ivan and Thomas, adding a personal touch to his multifaceted career.
