Michael Thorn

President, CEO, Theme UI/UX Designer Following a twenty-year career in the Air Force as a Command Pilot and Senior Staff Officer, Michael E. Thorn’s education includes an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, an MBA in Management and Quantitative Analysis from the Pennsylvania State University, a BA in Economics and Statistics from the Pennsylvania State University, as well as diplomas from the Air University Staff College and Professional Military Comptroller School. Working in the areas of project management, information systems, and academia, he has directly supported clients in the federal government and private sectors, domestically and internationally. In addition, Mike has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels for six different universities over a span of 35 yearsin disciplines ranging from statistics and economics to management and technology/innovation to information systems and project management. As the principal officer for GlobaLink Consulting, he forms and leads virtual teams for specific clients and purposes (e.g., TEDx events). He is currently working as a senior program/project manager and consultant. A frequent speaker at national congresses for the Project Management Institute and Project World, Mike is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Black Belt, and Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM).

Cynthia Wohl

President, CEO, Theme UI/UX DesignerCynthia Wohl has been a resident of Boca Raton for 25 years, where she has worked with both start-up technology and large multi-national companies in marketing communications, event planning and business development. After leaving the corporate world Cynthia decided to put her energy into helping people navigate the residential real estate market here in Boca Raton and surrounding areas. Her expertise in living, working, and raising a family in the area, commitment to knowing about growth in the area, and financial and business savvy make her an trusted advocate to her clients. She holds a BA from New York University, and an MBA from Temple University. Her passion in the arts led her to be the Artistic Director of a summer Playhouse with a complete children’s theater program in the Berkshires for the 9 years. Cynthia feels strongly about social causes and is a member of Boca Ballet Theater Guild, where she has chaired multiple events. She supports various other non-profits with her planning and development skills, and led an initiative to procure and deliver over 2000 lbs of food and water to Haiti following the devastating earthquake in 2010.
When asked to be on the TEDX team, she replied, “Absolutely, working on this event is exciting and challenging, exactly what I love.” This is Cynthia’s 2nd TEDX event at Mizner Park, and she is overwhelmed at the growth in one year. For relaxation, Cynthia loves family time with her husband and teenage daughters; and practices and teaches yoga.

Henner Espinoza

Henner Espinoza

Henner Espinoza is a native South Floridian and first generation American. He grew up spending his summers in the “oeste” of Caracas, Venezuela and his school year in Wellington, FL. He is no stranger to a life of contrasts- in fact it is his passion for diversity that has proven vital to his success in the financial services industry. Henner believes in paying it forward, he is involved with multiple philanthropic causes ranging from financial literacy to LGBT or “people” equality.

Garrett Langford

Garrett Langford is an entrepreneur with areas of expertise in marketing, finance and real estate valuation. As co-founder and chief creative director of National Impressions, his work is recognized for sophistication in design and impact.

Before residing in Boca Raton with his wife and daughter, Garrett lived in Los Angeles where he worked closely with the city in revitalizing downtown LA’s appearance and appeal to tourists and residents. He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida were he earned a BS in Business Administration, Finance.

A firm believer in a higher standard of accountability, Matt Weaver draws on his 20+ experience in the mortgage and real estate world. His passion is fueled by creating a better kind of lending service. Over the course of his career Mr. Weaver has earned a plethora of accolades and recognition for his loan quality and closing records. He has served on Boca Raton’s Affordable Housing Committee, been a mortgage contributor for CNBC, and was recruited to become an educator for Real Estate licensing courses. With an ongoing focus on adding value to the realtor community Matt and partner Avi Mizrahi were instrumental in setting up Finance of America’s alignment with Mike Ferry, the world’s most influential Real Estate Coach. They are also housing Mike Ferry’s Real Estate Prospecting School in their Boca Raton facility, designed to increase agents’ sales and productivity. A passionate philanthropist, Weaver is actively involved in numerous charitable organizations, such as Florence Fuller Foundation, Hugs and Kisses and Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach. This passion led to the co-founding of the Just1Brick campaign, which is partnered with Habitat for Humanity and will be completely funding and donating the entire cost of a home for a deserving family in south Palm Beach County. Matt devotes his free time to his wife and two beautiful children.center of our existence.

Alexander has a Masters degree in acupuncture and is currently pursuing a Ph. D in classical Chinese medicine at the American University for Complimentary Medicine. He is a professor at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture, Southwest Acupuncture College, and the Colorado School for Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is the director, designer, and primary facilitator for the Newfield Network’s business development program for coaches, The Heart, Soul, & Praxis of Business Development. This program combines Integral theory and ancient wisdom with the practical knowledge needed to build and run a successful coaching practice.

Alexander is the developer of Evolutionary CranioSacral Therapy (ECST), a system of medicine that is a confluence of Chinese medicine and Osteopathic medicine viewed through an Integral context. ECST allows timeless ancient wisdom to become nested within an evolutionary epistemology capable of meeting the diverse and complex challenges of our current era with radical inclusivity and unrelenting embrace. Through this, we are invited to step into new phenomenological territories that ignite healing potentials and assist humanity to discover its passionate, beating, blazing heart.

Currently, Alexander has a coaching and acupuncture practice in Boulder, Colorado. He enjoys life with his daughter Sophia and wife Veronica.

Jeff Tromberg

For 25 years, Jeff Tromberg has passionately helped thousands of people with serious financial problems such as mortgage foreclosures and credit card debt throughout South Florida. In 2005, he founded Florida Debt Relief Center, LLC, a consumer bankruptcy law firm. He is a long-standing member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and has served as its state chair for Florida for many years.
Prior to that, he grew up in Queens, New York but finished high school in Broward County, Florida. Then, like many New Yorkers looking to get away from the cold winters, he followed his dream and stayed in South Florida. He attended the University of Miami during its championship football years and graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication (with double majors in Print Journalism and Politics & Public Affairs). During that time, he served as sports editor of the Miami Hurricane and worked at the Miami Herald. Following that, Jeff earned his law degree in 1990 also at the University of Miami. Jeff is married to Andrea and they live in Boca Raton and have five kids between them. In his spare time, he enjoys politics, travel, reading and the outdoors.

Reizel Larrea-Alvarez

Reizel Larrea-Alvarez is the Founder of iZoom Productions. She is a former investigative producer for CBS News in Miami. Reizel is a recipient of 2 Emmy’s and 5 Emmy nominations. She is responsible for producing the Emmy Award winning investigative story “Dangerous Brews”. This story was submitted by 17 Attorneys General around the country to the Alcohol Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau to highlight the dangerous effects of alcohol energy drinks. As a result of her story, within 4 months, The Miller Brewing Company and Anheuser-Busch were ordered to remove the dangerous drinks off the market.
Reizel has been recognized by The South Florida Society of Journalism and is a recipient of the Green Eye Shared Award for her investigative journalism skills.She is an active Board Member of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences-Suncoast Chapter. She is also an active Member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, BNI Biscayne Connection, SFIMA-South Florida Interactive Marketing Association and Member of the board for TEDx Boca Raton Florida.
As Founder of iZoom Productions, Reizel and her team specialize in producing Legacy videos for prominent leaders and philanthropists in addition to promotional online videos for corporations, event filming, live-streaming and creating branded corporate YouTube channels. She is also one of the first producers in the country to specialize in producing At Sentencing Videos. In October, 2014, Reizel produced the first At Sentencing Video that was submitted to the United States District Court – Southern District of New York.
When not producing, Reizel volunteers her time to various charities such as the Education Fund and enjoys photography, traveling and outdoors activities.

Todd Paton

Todd Paton has had an influential role in the Miami community in both business and community service. Todd is the current President of the Biscayne Bay Kiwanis Club, a downtown Miami club with a great history over the past 63 years. As club President, Todd oversees a club that ensures that underprivileged children in Miami have access to incredible educational and social opportunities. One of the many programs that the Biscayne Bay Kiwanis Club performs is providing a 4-Year Full Scholarship each year to a deserving student from Booker T. Washington. Todd is also the current President of BNI Biscayne Connection, the largest BNI chapter in the state of Florida with 65 local business owners referring over 3 million dollars in business each year. Todd has been an active volunteer for SCORE (division of the SBA) since moving to Miami in 2009, providing a monthly workshop called “Dominate Your Industry Online.” Todd is a past board member of the American Diabetes Association of Miami and was on the Father of the Year Committee. Finally, Todd and his company Paton Marketing have been mentoring high school students at I-Prep Academy since 2011 through the schools internship program.
